Plan it Out

Hello my loves! Still yet, another blog post that has taken forever to put down in words.

I try to plan it our, but it just doesn't work! I originally woke up this morning with a lovely, easy going post in my mind, but looks like I'm writing what He wants. ha-ha!

Plans. What are plans? WHY do we make them?

To me, plans are something we do as humans to try to organize our life and make us feel like we got it together.

But to God, it's totally the opposite.

When He makes plans, they never change.

He knows whatever he decides, it will happen.

He knows that they won't be interrupted.

He knows that His timing will be perfect.

Jeremiah 29:11-14

¹¹ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosperyou and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ¹² Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. ¹³ You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. ¹⁴ I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.

Do you see yet?!

We try to make plans on our own. We don't consult God. We just make them and hope everything works out for the best. We try to fit God into our schedule. That's really not the way to go!

God wants to be involved in everything in our life. Not just a little bit.  If we would just hand over our plans to God, pray about them, and ask for God to direct them, our life would be the simple, smooth life you want!

Psalm 37:4 ESV

"Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

God definitely wants you to be happy! But you have to give Him everything before HE can be the ruler and lover over your heart. His love is sweeter than wine and will always guide you if you let him.
So condensed short and sweet version, give God your all and let Him guide your pans and he'll give you the desires of your heart!
