Hey peoples! I've been neglecting my blog, I know :(

i really always find so much to blog and then don't! We make time for the important things. I need to make this a priority!

today I want to talk a little about prayer.

Prayer is a really, really important thing in your walk as a Christian. Infact, you can't be a believer without it!

There are a lot of people nowadays who think that "once saved always saved" and "well, God surely knows my heart"; but these things aren't realistic!

Prayer is a MUST!

My personal favorites are;

1 Timothy 2:8 "pray without ceasing"

Colossians 4:2 "devote yourself to prayer, being watchful and thankful"

I feel like sometimes it can be really hard for us to always pray and to try to pray all the time! I struggle myself in this. But prayer is a beautiful thing. It can lift you up and make you rejoice but it can also make yo fall to your knees till they blister.

Once you get saved, you are clean from all your sins, and released from the yoke of bondage. But every time you sin, you have to repent! Easy enough, right?

There was only ever one perfect person without sin in the world... and that was Jesus! He never made a mistake. Yet he laid down his life and paid the ultimate price, His life, so that we could be sinless!

Do we still sin once we are saved? Of course! That's why we have to repent! all we have to do is ask for forgiveness! Everyday I fail to be perfect, but He willingly forgives me.

every. single. day.

He definitely is a merciful God. (: Ever loving, always forgiving. He will set you free! All you have to do is ask and believe!
