Doubt

Helloooo my dears!

I have been quite the busy bee with school staring and getting into a routine! I fell as though I have finally settled into it, now.

I wanted to share a little something that's been on my heart for awhile, but I haven't taken to the time to put it in a post. So here we go!!!

Doubt.

What is that mysterious word and what does it mean? How do I fix it and what can I do to keep it away? How does it apply to me?

I am here to rescue you from this string of questions! Let's break it down and figure it out.

doubt- a feeling of uncertainty or lack of conviction.

Now I don't know about you, but that is a very certain definition. "a feeling of uncertainty"...

There are times in this life where we tend to get uncertain about things. About or life, the choice we are making, about God.

We get uncertain not only about God, but about His plans, and His timing.

Why, oh why, do we do this?

James 1:6-7;

“But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord.”

When we doubt ourselves, and God's plans for us, it makes life utterly difficult. It turn our world upside down and fear eats us alive nibble by nibble. We have to put out trust and hop in Him and believe that His promises are true!

I feel like I tend to harp on about trusting and believing, but there is no other way! (: If we will do these simple things in life, then he will guide our paths.

Matthew 25:23;

"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'

When we finally follow the famous phrase "let go and let God", He gives us all we need and our hearts' desires! We have to put aside the doubt and fear, and follow.
