Dreams

Readers! How's it going!? Been a couple days, so I thought I'd drop by. ;)

Today, I have a great, hoping-to-make-you-feel-inspired!

So lately I've come to the conclusion that as you start to come of age and get older, adults and other kids start to get curious just to as what exactly you think you want to do when you get out of high school.

When we were 7 we would've carelessly answered; Policeman/woman, Astronaut, Cowboy/girl.

When we were around 11 we would have started answering; Veterinarian, Solider, Firefighter.

But now when they ask us, what do we say? Most hopes are being in the Army, different fields of a doctor, nurse, or a social worker.

Some of these are truly great jobs, they are! But are these ambitions are our own or God's?

I've been thinking non-stop about writing this post for awhile, but avoiding it. I think there have been so many kids these days who either accept the fact that their just not going to chase their dream jobs, don't have one, or are fully devoted.

All these people, they want to do what they have in their mind. And by 16, most of these kids already have it figured out, where they want to go to school, and where they want to work. It's crazy! I think that as a society we worry to much about what we want to do, and not what God wants to do!

I'm not saying don't have dreams and don't chase them! But pray about it! Seek the Lord's face until you have nothing left, then pray more. He delights in hearing us and he actually wants us to ask for things we want! So pursue Him about your dream! he will make the way a lot easier instead of you by yourself. (: If it doesn't work out, he's got something else in store!

On a side note for those wandering, I want to be a music producer/blogger/photographer. ;) you can never dream to big!
