Faithful
Good morning and Happy Sunday viewers! Doesn't feel like it should be Monday already??? I had an easy day planned but I guess easy days are not my normal. Here lately I've been learning about what true faith is and really living it out to it's fullest. For those of you who know, it is definitely NOT easy. In my youth group we've been talking about Noah. Noah is a great example of faith. I mean, think about it!!! Noah lived in a place that maybe had three inches of rain a year, and God the Almighty pops up and says: "Noah build me a boat". Oh and not any boat, an ark. I'd say he probably questioned God whole lot. I know I would, in fact, I would probably say "haha okay let's take a step back and chill". But he did it. There was no one else in whole world who was faithful but Noah! He built this huge boat and didn't let anybody's insults, even those from his own family stopped him. Noah was also more than just a vessel for God, he was a messenger. He pleaded and begged for the people to listen to God. For them to just head his word and save themselves! But they did not. So Noah finally finished this oversized yacht he'd been working on. He loaded up his family, then God directed every animal (two of each kind) onto the boat and thus the floodgates of Heaven opened up and the rain poured. You see, this is more than a mere fairytale to make you feel good about your faith. This should drive your heart and inspire you! It should stir a yearning in your heart to be so passionate and faithful to the one who died for you! Coming to a conclusion on this post I've been working on, increase your faith. You question how? Decrease you and increase him. People take it lightly but use WWJD. Make and effort to really think about your choices, it does make a difference! Go with love in all you do.
