Isn't it terrible how we're always anticipating something? Every single day we wake up, and anticipate what it holds, what we have planned. A big anticipation for me is my birthday. Right now I am fourteen, and so I'm anticipating turning fifteen.So that means that while I'm anticipating fifteen I'm anticipating on top of that, that It'll be one more year till I'm sixteen and can work. Today's Fathers Day. My day hasn't started the greatest so therefor, I'm anticipating tomorrow to be better. Why do we do that? Every. Single. Day. Day after day after day after day. We have a choice to make. We can take this day amazing and live in the moment or we can sit around wanting tomorrow. Here's the thing, We aren't actually guaranteed tomorrow. Some of us don't worry about tomorrow, yet we linger in the past. We always go to thinking: "Man yesterday was great. I wish I could relive it instead of boring today." We are never satisfied with the spectacular now!!! We always crave something more. We seek happiness, but happiness is fleeting. We can only fill this instilled desire within our souls with Jesus! None other can give us everlasting joy for today and the next day, unlike happiness which comes and goes in the blink of an eye! So live everything today. Let God completely take your life and fill you with joy to live now! Yesterday was great, but think how much better you could make today!!!! You can go outside, talk to old friends, take a walk! Enjoy the beauty around you in this moment. Matthew 6:34 says: "therefor do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient until the day is evil thereof." The Bible always has good advice. (: here's my little mediocre post for today, my beloved souls.
